Music virtuosos – violinist M. Martin and pianist AM McDermott – will perform with the Kaunas Symphony Orchestra
On Friday evening, the Kaunas City Symphony Orchestra (chief conductor Constantine Orbelian, USA, director Algimantas Treikauskas) will present an incredible duet to the audience at the Kaunas State Philharmonic - violin virtuoso Mihaela Martin and one of the best pianists of our time, Anne-Marie McDermott, recognized worldwide.
American pianist Anne-Marie McDermott is one of the most versatile, respected, and highly regarded pianists of our time. She has performed concerts, solo recitals, and chamber music in hundreds of cities in the United States, Europe, and Asia.
Anne is not only an active concert performer, but has also recorded numerous pieces of music to date. A.-M. McDermott is also the Music and Artistic Director of the Bravo! Vail Music Festival in Colorado, which features the most renowned artists and orchestras from around the world, the Artistic Director of the Ocean Reef Chamber Music Festival in Florida, and the McKnight Center Chamber Music Festival at Oklahoma State University.
